Overview 

This guide explains how to connect a Wi-Fi receipt printer in the Moon Invoice application.

First, you’ll need to configure your device before setting it up with the Moon Invoice application.

You can do so by following these steps:

Windows

Install the Printer Driver

• Go to the Drivers section on your device.
• Select your printer model.

Wi-Fi Setup

• First, find out your printer’s IP Address.
• In Drivers, locate the printer and open the file labeled as Application.
• Under the USB option, enter your IP Address and click Set New IP to ping the printer.
• For setting up the Broadband IP:
  • Go to Advanced → Set Net.
  • Enter your Wi-Fi details and click Set All.

USB Connection Setup

• If the printer is connected via USB, configure it with your IP Address following the same steps.

Test the Printer

• Once setup is complete, run a test print to confirm everything is working.

Android

Connect to Wi-Fi

• Make sure your Android phone and printer are on the same Wi-Fi network (Settings → Connections → Wi-Fi).

Install the App/Plugin

• Download your printer’s app (e.g., HP Smart, Canon PRINT, Epson Smart Panel) or a general Print Service Plugin from the Google Play Store.

Add Your Printer

• Open the app/plugin, select Add Printer, and follow the prompts to connect.
• Enter the printer’s password or network details if required.

Print

• Open the file or photo you want to print, tap the menu (⋮ or share icon), choose Print, select your printer, adjust settings, and tap Print.

Step 1: Open the Moon Books Application

• Open the Moon Books application.

Step 2: Open App Settings

• Click the Settings icon in the top-right corner.
• Select App Settings.

Step 3: Open Printer Settings

• Navigate to Printer.
• Under Connected Printer, click the + (Plus) icon.

Step 4: Connect the Printers

• Under Receipt Printers, select the printer you want to connect.
• Click Save

Step 5: Save the Changes

• Click Save.

Important Notes

• Follow the steps in the order shown.
• Make sure the printer is powered on and available before connecting it.
• Verify that the correct printer is selected before saving.

The selected Wi-Fi printer is successfully connected and saved. You can now use the connected printer for receipt printing in the application.
