Overview 

This guide explains how to enable and add Shipping Tax to supported Sales and Purchase transactions in Moon Invoice.

First, enable the Shipping Tax options from App Settings. After enabling it, you can select a Shipping Tax while creating or editing a transaction.

Part 1: Enable Shipping Tax

Step 1: Open the Moon Invoice Application

• Open the Moon Invoice application.

Step 2: Open the App Settings

• Click the Settings icon in the top-right corner.
• Select App Settings.

Step 3: Enable Shipping Tax

• Select the required transaction module from the left panel, such as Invoice.
• Open Field Visibility.
• Enable Shipping Tax.
• Repeat the same process for other supported Sales or Purchases modules where Shipping Tax is required.
• Click Save.

Part 2: Add Shipping Tax

Step 1: Open the Sales or Purchase Transaction

• Navigate to the required Sales or Purchase module, such as: 
  • Invoices
  • Proforma Invoices
  • Sales Receipt
  • Estimate
  • Purchase Order
  • Bills.

Open an existing transaction or create a new one

Step 2: Select Shipping Tax

• In the transaction, find Shipping Tax.
• Click the Shipping Tax dropdown.
• Select the required tax from the available options.

Step 4: Save the Changes

• Click Save.

Important Notes

• Enable Shipping Tax from App Settings before adding it to a transaction.
• Make sure you enable Shipping Tax for the required transaction modules.
• Select the correct tax rate before saving the transaction.
• Review the transaction details before clicking Save.

Expected Result

Shipping Tax is enabled for the selected transaction module, and the selected Shipping Tax is successfully applied to the Sales or Purchase transaction.
