Overview 

This guide explains how to sync your data between Moon Invoice and Moon Books using MoonSync.

The steps depend on whether your Moon Invoice storage is set to Local or MoonSync.

Scenario 1: Moon Invoice Storage Is Set to Local

Step 1: Open the Moon Invoice Application

• Open the Moon Invoice application.

Step 2: Create a Backup of Your Current Data

• Navigate to Settings from the left menu.
• Choose Backup & Restore.
• Click New Backup.

Step 3: Change Storage to MoonSync

• Go back to Settings.
• Change the Storage option to MoonSync.

Step 4: Restore the Backup to MoonSync

• Open Backup & Restore.
• Click Restore from external file.
• Select the backup file you created.
• Wait for the Sync process to reach 100%.

Step 5: Log In to Moon Books

After the Sync process reaches 100%, all your data is stored in MoonSync.

Open Moon Books and log in using the same email address and password used for your Moon Invoice account.

Important Note:

Make sure the Sync process has completed successfully and reached 100% before logging in to Moon Books.

Scenario 2: Moon Invoice Storage is Already Set to MoonSync

Step 1: Open the Moon Books 

• Open the Moon Books application.

Step 2: Log in to Moon Books 

• Log in to Moon Books using the same email address and password used for your Moon Invoice account.

Important Notes:

Make sure you enter the correct Moon Invoice account credentials.

• Create a backup before changing the storage from Local to MoonSync.
• Make sure the backup is completed successfully before restoring it.
• Make sure the Sync process reaches 100% before logging in to Moon Books.
• Use the same Moon Invoice account credentials to log in to Moon Books.
• Follow the steps for the scenario that matches your current storage settings.

Expected Result

After completing the applicable scenario:

• Your Moon Invoice data is stored in MoonSync.
• You can log in to Moon Books using your Moon Invoice account credentials.
• Your synced data is available in Moon Books.
