First, you’ll need to configure your device before setting it up with the Moon Invoice application.
You can do so by following these steps:
Windows
Install the Printer Driver
- Go to the Drivers section on your device.
- Select your printer model.
Wi-Fi Setup
- First, find out your printer’s IP Address.
- In Drivers, locate the printer and open the file labeled as Application.
- Under the USB option, enter your IP Address and click Set New IP to ping the printer.
- For setting up the Broadband IP:
- Go to Advanced → Set Net.
- Enter your Wi-Fi details and click Set All.
USB Connection Setup
- If the printer is connected via USB, configure it with your IP Address following the same steps.
Test the Printer
- Once setup is complete, run a test print to confirm everything is working.
Android
Connect to Wi-Fi
- Make sure your Android phone and printer are on the same Wi-Fi network (Settings → Connections → Wi-Fi).
Install the App/Plugin
- Download your printer’s app (e.g., HP Smart, Canon PRINT, Epson Smart Panel) or a general Print Service Plugin from Google Play Store.
Add Your Printer
- Open the app/plugin, select Add Printer, and follow the prompts to connect.
- Enter the printer’s password or network details if required.
- Open the file or photo you want to print, tap the menu (⋮ or share icon), choose Print, select your printer, adjust settings, and tap Print.
You can setup a Wi-Fi printer in Moon Invoice easily by following the steps below.
- Open the Moon Invoice application on your device or tap on this link.
- From the Dashboard, navigate to Settings ➜ App Settings.
- In the Printer section, click on Connect Printer.
- Under Receipt Printer, choose POS-X Thermal Printer.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
