Generate and Configure a Barcode in Moon Invoice

Overview

Moon Invoice allows you to generate barcodes for your products and customize barcode settings based on your business requirements. You can either add a product manually or import a product from your existing product list before generating barcodes.

Generate a Barcode

Follow the steps below to generate a barcode for your product.

Step 1:  Open the Generate Barcode Screen

1. Open the Moon Invoice app.
2. Navigate to Settings → Generate Barcode.

Step 2:  Add or Import a Product

1. On the Generated Barcode screen, add a product using one of the following options:

• Add a barcode to manually add a product.
• Import from All Products to select an existing product.

2. Select the product you want to generate a barcode for.

Step 3:  Generate the Barcode

1. Select the checkbox next to the product.
2. Click Generate.

Step 4:  Preview the Barcode

1. Review the generated barcode in the preview windows.
2. Use the available options to print or download the barcode if required.

Configure Barcode Settings

Follow the steps below to customize barcode settings.

Step 1:  Open the Generate Barcode Screen

1. Open the Moon Invoice app.
2. Navigate to Settings → Generate Barcode.

Step 2:  Open Configure Barcode Settings

1. Click the Settings icon on the Generate Barcode screen.
2. Select Configure Barcode.

Step 3: Configure Barcode Settings

1. Update the barcode settings according to your requirements.
2. Available settings include: 

• Print Mode
• Box Height
• Box Width

Bar Height

• Bar Width
• Barcode Type
• Text Visibility
• Text Alignment
• Barcode Alignment
• Font Size
• Paper Size

3. After updating the settings, click Save.

Important Notes

• Ensure the product contains a valid SKU before generating a barcode.
• Barcode output may vary based on the selected barcode type and paper size.
• Review the barcode preview before printing.

Expected Result

After completing these steps: 

• A barcode is generated for the selected product.
• The barcode can be previewed, printed, or downloaded.
• Barcode settings are saved and applied according to the selected configuration.
