How to set up and accept online payments from customers in Moon Invoice?

Overview 

This guide explains how to enable and configure online payment methods for a company in the Moon Invoice application. Once a payment method is enabled, customers can use the available online payment option on invoices.

Step-by-Step Instructions 

Step 1: Open the Moon Invoice App

Step 2: Open the Companies Section

  • Navigate to Companies.

Step 3: Configure Payment Methods

  • Click Payment Methods.
  • Select the payment methods you want to enable for the company.

Step 4: Save the Changes

  • Click Save.

Important Notes 

  • Select the payment methods you want to use before saving.
  • Click Save to apply the changes.
  • Only configured and supported payment gateways will be available for online payments.

Expected Result

The selected payment methods are saved for the company. If a supported online payment gateway is configured, customers can use the available payment option to pay invoices online.

    In the drop-down menu, there are no options to select "Stripe, Venmo, PayPal Checkout, Braintree, Custom link, UPI, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Square". I am using the Moon Invoice Pro on a Mac running the latest OS and app software.

    Update: I see in the iOS version where I can select Online Payment to setup, but not from the app on my iMac. It appears to be missing. Also, on the Phone App there is not option to setup ApplePay.

    The option to set up an online payment from MacOS device will be available with a future update of the application. You can set up your online payment options from your iOS device application for now. Feel free to contact us if you have any further queries or suggestions.

    Update: The option to set up an online payment is now also available with a macOS device application. It can be set up by following the steps listed above in the macOS application.
