A Virtual Payment Address (VPA), also known as a UPI ID, is a unique identifier used to send and receive payments through UPI without sharing bank account details.
Examples of VPA (UPI ID)
- mobilenumber@upi

- business@paytm
Method 1: Google Pay
- Open Google Pay.
- Tap the Profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Bank Account.
- Choose your linked bank account.
- Click on Manage UPI IDs.
Your VPA (UPI ID) will be displayed.
Example: john123@okaxis
Method 2: PhonePe
- Open PhonePe.
- Tap the Profile icon in the top-left corner.
- Tap your QR code.
Your VPA (UPI ID) will be displayed
Example: rick123@ybl
Method 3: Paytm
- Open Paytm.
- Tap the Profile icon in the top-left corner.
- Select UPI & Payment Settings.
Your VPA (UPI ID) will be displayed
Example: nikk@paytm
Method 4: BHIM App
- Open the BHIM App.
- Tap the Profile icon in the top-left corner.
Your VPA (UPI ID) will be displayed

Note
- The VPA must be a valid UPI ID linked to your bank account.
- Do not add spaces before or after the VPA.
- Ensure the Payee Name matches the account holder or business name.
- If the VPA is incorrect or inactive, the payment may fail.
